Disability in Norwich

In the 2021 census, 21% of the population of Norwich identified themselves as being disabled, stating that they were either limited a lot or a little by their disability.

Service design and policy greatly influence this group, where effective communication and engagement are essential for developing community resources that help individuals maintain their independence.

Our Mission

The City of Norwich is better when everyone is included

People with disabilities have the right to be included in the economy, politics and society as a whole.

Inclusive Norwich offers advocacy, accessibility audits and general advice to both people with disabilities and also businesses and service providers who are looking to improve their compliance with the Equality Act 2010.
